The Advanced Master in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions (SAHC) is a one-year Master program jointly organized by four partner Universities: University of Minho (Portugal), Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic), UPC / Barcelona Tech (Spain) and University of Padua (Italy). SAHC started in 2007 and has received over 300 students from 62 different countries. It is the only international program addressing the conservation of historical structures. The objective is to offer an advanced education program on conservation of cultural heritage structures, focusing on the application of scientific principles and methodologies in analysis, innovation and practice. Students complete their coursework in one country and carry out their final dissertation in another country, having lecturers for four countries, with provides a true European context to the program. SAHC alumni are now reputed experts in the field all over the world in academia, as professionals and in governmental bodies.
