Description:
The aim of the project was to create a system of educational programs aimed at education in the field of cultural heritage, including historical properties, cultural landscapes, and archaeological sites. The target groups were children and youth under 18 years of age, university students, the lay and professional public, and people with special needs. The continuous development of programs gradually utilized about 100 accessible properties that are managed by the Czech National Heritage Institute (also NHI). Relevance and availability of the project outcomes at the regional level were ensured by the creation of a network of Educational Centres. The established system used formal education as well as the support of modern technology, including e-learning and audio-visual presentations. The project was lead by the NHI in cooperation with the Faculties of Education at Charles University in Prague and at Masaryk University in Brno.
