Created in 1990, the Caja Madrid Foundation has redirected a large part of its activity and resources towards hiostoric heritage conservation throughout the country. Since then, it has become the foremost private institution which dedicates most attention to the conservation of Spanish historic heritage both in quantity, with an investment volume exceeding 14 million Euro per annum, and in quality, owing to the technical and scientific rigour of the so-named intervention Method of the Caja Madrid Foudnation. NB: re-submitted from 2003 and 2004.
