Description:
Renovation of the 15th century Ettl-House in the old town of Innsbruck, at a prominent corner near the cathedral, to preserve historic structures and to prevent migration of the inhabitants.The former residence served later on as flats for three families. The existing structure was kept and modernized. Modernization of the dwellings to bring the building up to modern standards, restoration of the façade including new coloring corresponding with the cathedral's facade, entrance hall and staircase. During the course of the work many important architectural details of the structure were discovered and could be exposed. The families living in the flats remained during the renovation work. The shops on ground floor remained unchanged. 1981 retiling of the northern part of roof.
