Description:
The highlighting of a cultural and touristic pedestrian axis connecting Madrid's main monumments. The interventions included the rehabilitation of buildings, the control of wheeled traffic, the co-ordinated upgrading of the pedestrian spaces with paving, landscaping, lighting, street furniture and protective bollards. Bronze plaques honouring literary figures from the area are included along the route.
