Description:
The project covers the whole of Estonia. The major part of Estonian farm architecture is not listed as monuments. The preservation of this kind of cultural heritage remains the responsibility of the owners only. People in rural areas need more and more practical advice and examples in renovating their old rural houses. In organizing different trainings and courses the museum has outgrown from its territory and extended its activities to local areas - special courses are based on case studies where participants can learn by doing and thus contribute with their work to the preservation of concrete objects of rural architecture. In the years 2008-2014 we have organised more than 80 practical trainings for ca 1700 participants.
