Description:
Restoration of a ruined ensemble and conversion into a private holiday home. The ensemble consists of a two storey Venetian house surrounded by four arched houses including the adjoining annexes. Abandoned 40 years ago and subsequently used to shelter animals, this Venetian house has been cleared of rubble, then re-inforced and restored. Built-in openings have been re-opened. Like other houses in the area it is distinguished by the characteristic of the carved local stone. No total restoration strategy but harmonizing with the surroundings.
