Description:
Construction of a music pavilion in Piazza Venezia. The structure can be raised or lowered hydraulically. When lowered, only a semi-circular seating area is visible, thereby preserving the appearance of an area which is protected by conservation laws. The wooden segments cover a surface of 52 sqm. When the pavilion is not in use, it is arranged in the cellar of the building, leaving only a semicircular bench on the square. This works by means of 2 pistons, driven by pomp which open the segments (the pavilion) in 5 minutes.
