Description:
Conservative restoration and adaptation of the building to current uses, carried out with a scientific method, of the Thiene Palace by Andrea Palladio, owned by the Banque Populaire de Vicenza, a well-known building, carried out in the ancient historic center of Vicenza by the great architect around the middle of the 16th century. The restoration operations were carried out between 1994 and 1997 after the most careful and preventive surveys of architectural relief and cognitive stratigraphic examination of the main constituent materials: stones, bricks, plasters, mortar. The treveaux therefore continued in parallel with the restoration of vertical projections on the street of the late 15th century part, heavily altered at the end of the 19th century.
