Description:
According to the architect that supervised this renovation, Mr. Vicente Masaveu and Menéndez Pidal, this house, located in the street of Bizcocheros n° 29, in the neighborhood of The Albarizuela in Jerez, was a project that for its surface and volumetric space corresponds to the typical house-palaces of the XVIIth century and it has been verified this way with the opposing remains of ceramic, pavement, foundation type (mill wheels) etc ... , as well as the size of the beams of the wrought ones, bars. In the XIXth century it was divided, being sold the contiguous houses to it, those which, for their structure and characteristics it is easy to check that they belonged to this, becoming the indivisible part neighbours' house until, due to their deplorable state, it was declared in ruin, having to be evicted at the beginning of this century, remaining closed during forty years, time after the one which, for the lazyness and the abandonment arrived to fall down, being only erected the arches and the columns of the main patio.
