Description:
In 1586 Pedro Coloma transformed the remaining of a medieval castle into a residence in renaissance style. The present house was built on the same site at the end of the 19th century to plans by Henri Beyaert , after the remains of the 16th century building had been demolished. Works started in 1887 and were continued, after the prematurely dead of Henri Beyaert in 1894, by Emile Janlet. The roof of the castle was restored and all lightning conductors were replaced. The rooms and the furniture were restored. The roofs of the side buildings were renewed after the storm of 1990.
