The project concerns the study, conservation, restoration and enhancement of the remains of the Palace of Galerius (4th century A.D.) in Navarinou Square, Thessaloniki, covering 8000 sq. m. Within the framework of the project, the following was carried out: - Archaeological research and study of the monument - Protection and restoration fo the construction remains of five buildings - Conservation of plaster and wall paintings - Conservation and restoration of floors (mosaic-marble) over an area of 1088 sq. m. - Presentation and interpretation of the monument (explanatory signs, exhibition of the restoration project, digital representation) - Visitors' installations (ticket booth-configuration of the site's entrance, visitors' walkways)
