The Borgholm Castle restoration project

The restoration of the 12th century "Borgholm Slott", ruined by a fire in 1806. The ruins were stabilised and parts of it enclosed to house exhibition, concert and museum spaces. A lime-burning kiln was built to provide lime for the restoration mortar.
