Description:
Restoration of the Town Hall, re-opened in 1985. Built in 1871 it subsequently served as a main police station. Seriously subsidence problems nearly ended in demolition, but it aroused protest amongst the inhabitants. The Town Council undertook its restoration internal and external. It houses today representation and assembly halls, tourist offices, municipal information and a museum. The importance of this building in the centre of the small town means that the whole aspect of the town has been enhanced for future generations.
