Description:
Castle Landshut was built 1204 onwards for the dukes of Bavaria. In 1961 a quarter of the castle was destroyed by fire, but reconstruction started almost immediately restoring remaining parts or taking parts referring to remains or to contemporary standards in other parts of the castle. The vastly destroyed parts were reconstructed as establishment of "fixed points" to give the visitors the impression of the former arrangement and equipment of the lost rooms.
