Restoration and adaptation of the water tower of the Canal de Isabel II into an exhibition centre. Canal de Isabel II, named after a Spanish Queen, has a splendid water tower near its headquarters. The 32 meter high tower with a dome-shaped zinc roof and a generous use of brick was designed by the engineer Martín y Montalvo. The 12-sided tower with a steel reservoir of 1 500 cubic meters, was built in 1908-11 and was until 1952 in the duty. In 1986, the tower was restored and converted into galleries.
