The moated Castle of Romenay with its origin in the Middle Ages served as fortress surrounded by moats. Since the 17th century it was in use as palace. Extensive restoration of the castle, main work was the reinstallation of the moats and watering them, restoring and rebuilding a system of water retention ponds. Reconstruction of the tower, the entrance gate, staircase, new paving of the bridges and rebuilding the broken support wall of the garden.
