Description:
The museum was initiated by voluntary initiative aimed to rescue from demolition a number of derelict buildings built between the 12th and the 19th century. The buildings were carefully dismantled and placed in a new location in order to build a village. Works were done by students and began in 1980. In 1987 the park consisted of 42 houses, covered 10 hectares and was a developable project. Creation of an open-air museum with timber framed houses, barns, pigsty, dovecote, silo and apiary.
