Village renewal program within the context of state land consolidation for Großweingarten with financial support by the state. Großweingarten is a typical "linear" village, dominated by gable-roofed Franconian hop-houses dating from the first half of 19th century. The renewal has involved improving infrastructure and traffic situation, building unobtrusive parking areas, renovation of facades and buildings, use of traditional building materials to maintain the typical appearance of the village, the landscaping of the surroundings.
