Description:
In Scotland Street School Strathclyde Regional Council have created a popular museum of education from a redundant building of a particular architectural significance. During the works of adaptation major areas of internal and external restoration have been carried out to re-establish the integrity of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's original design. The main programme of works began on site in February 1990, and were completed by november of that year.
