Description:
After years of alteration, decay and disuse a phased repair program was undertaken to a group of bathes, forming a part of the history of Bath, including the Cross Bath with Roman remains and the old Royal Bath, designed by John Wood the younger in the 18th C. Works involved substantial stone cleaning and repair, re-instating of missing decorative stone features, dry rot eradication, damp proofing and re-instatement of original pitched roofs. Interior works will follow.
