The building provides now space for offices and a variety of community projects. Application for demolition by the owners, British Rail, was stopped with aid of public protest. Unsympathetic Hotel annex removed to leave the original, similar to the now demolished Euston Station. Sterilization of all masonry and retained timber, replacement and repair of the structural fabric, restoration of interiors and fitting out.
