Description:
Dublic Castle has been at the centre of cultural and political life in Ireland for over a thousand years. Conservation work recognised that mantaining its historical function as a working complex would best ensure its future. Work completed in January, 1990 not only restored the fabric and spaces of the 18th and 19th centuries but created new buildings in harmony with the existing to achieve a new identity as an international conference venue complimenting its role as a major visitor attraction.
