Description:
The Feraios Mansion is one of the most important historical houses in Kastoria, mainly because of its interior decoration that combines painted and woodcarving decoration ot the 18th and 19th century. Due to recent repairs and alterations the original facades were disfigured in so a heavy degree that the mansion could not be recognized as a historical building form the exterior. The restoration aimed on the one hand to consolidate and conserve the old structure, respecting the builidings' originality et materials, decoration, historical phases. On the other hand, the target was to to restore its external and internal form in its composite 18th and 19th century appearance.
