Description:
After suffering many improvements through the ages, this 17th century palace has been restored to its original state. Now used as a museum tracing the historical relationship between the Netherlands and the House of Orange. Work done: Removing an extra storey, pulling down later additions, removing the plaster façade, refurbishing the interior to its original appearances over the centuries, including silk wall hangings, revealing original marbling paint. Rebuild of the gardens.
