Description:
The Stichting Oude Groningen Kerken, the oldest and biggest provincial trust for redundant churches, looks after 40 ecclesiastical historical monuments in the province of Groningen. During the last twenty years the trust has spent a considerable sum of money in maintenance and restoration, resulting in a satisfactory state of repair for 38 of her 40 churches. The trust adapted several buildings to multipurpose use and secured, by doing so, further maintenance.
