Description:
Conservative restoration of the Piermarini Theatre and the 19th century former Casino Ricordi and removal of later adjunctions; reconstruction of the volume of the stage tower and rehearsal rooms as a paralleliped whose proportions and heights are bound by technical requirements; and building of a new elliptical volume for the different services (dressing-rooms, changing rooms, canteen) which constitutes an axis parallel to that of the Theatre. The new volumes are constructed away from the street façades with the dual objective of emphasizing the relationship of the façades with the urban environment, whilst simultaneously highlighting the different transformations throughout history.
