Description:
Rebuilding of a medieval fortress on the site of a Celtic castrum and Roman castellum after years of decay leaving ruins. The remaining stone walls and spread parts were gathered to put them back to original places, lost pieces were reproduced following old techniques. On the east side the rampart had to be completely reconstructed. Remaining timberwork was the example for the rebuilding of timber constructions for roofs. Reconstruction of the three towers and chimneys, all interior walls. Modern systems for electricity, heating and water were installed.
