Description:
Restoration of the town centre of Herrstein, to reinstate the visual character of this historic centre. The centre was revitalized and became attractive for young people as well as for tourists. The work was carried out largely by unemployed people. Following the restoration of the buildings many communal equipments were improved as street-lighting, paving of places, fountains, new street signs, removing of telephone wires.
