Description:
Restoration, new construction and landscaping of former Cistercian monastery with farm established in the 12th century. The surrounding area was cultivated by the monks, who also laid out the ponds. The building was converted into a Marketing Institute with training area and accommodation area. From the original establishment, the historically significant church, the Romanesque tower house with porter cell and the Ladies chapel remained. The new additional buildings with the restored stables and barns form a pentagonal yard similar to the original establishment of the monastery. New materials harmonize with the restored elements. To save the park-like surroundings, a special parking level was created. The old Cistercian brook was altered and runs now in front of the terraces forming a pool to reflect the buildings.
