Description:
Restoration of the Mosque, built between 1543-1564 with a rectangular plan, portico and minaret. Some alterations in the Baroque. In 19th century the rectangular roof still existed, the minaret was destroyed, from end of 19th century the building was used as storage, therefore one wall was partly removed. After a fundamental research of the architectural structure of the historic building restoration work was started. Some damaged and completely destroyed parts could be rebuilt and reconstructed. Different materials to the original were used to show the difference between old and new. Construction of a new drum, built in bricks, supported by a glulam timber construction
