Description:
The old village center of Werdenberg dating from the Middle Ages consists primarily of half-timbered buildings. Most of them survived untouched till nowadays. In 1978 the comprehensive restoration of the whole quarter could be accomplished. The outside of the buildings was restored according to the original drawing by removing later additions, the inside was adapted for new and contemporary functionality.
