Description:
Restoration of a group of buildings in the old town of Geneva. The oldest of these buildings dates back to 15th or 16th century. The town re-considered plans to demolish them to create a square for the nearby church and decided then with the trend towards conservation they should be restored. The work involved the restoration of the facades during which the window arcatures were discovered. The existing arcades were preserved, accommodation created for families, and the existing theatre was extended to make it more profitable.
