Description:
Between 1983 and 1986 11 seriously damaged old buildings at he mountain pasture of Östra Arådalen were restored. A great part of the work was carried out by the owners, with help from the County Museum and the Central Board of National Antiquities. Skilled craftsmen with experience in historical materials using traditional carpentry techniques were able to carry out a careful restoration, without reconstructions or addictions.
