Description:
Restoration and adaption of derelict 18th century grain warehouse and adaptation for modern multipurpose usage: offices, college, shop, tourist information, bar, restaurant. The successful completion of the project, now established as a landmark in the city, has provided a major impetus to the urban renewal program. The confidence generated has encouraged the redevelopment of other small projects in the vicinity witch have been undertaken in a more sensitive manner than might hitherto have been the case.
