Description:
The Royal Free Hospital, originally built in 1848, closed 1975. It stood empty until 1986 when two housing associations bought the 4 acres site. The chartered architects produced a scheme which included re-use of the existing listed buildings and created a new square as the focus of the scheme. The development provides housing for a mixture of occupants.
