Description:
Originally the ground plan of the three buildings contained 12-13 rooms, equaling residences for 12-13 families. In 1730-31 the two oldest houses were joined to just one flat. The two roof constructions were changed. The new cornice was adapted to the neighbor, so that the two roofs hereafter are as one. In this connection a side wing was added at the south side, superseding the gallery which till then gave access to the second floor. In the 1800drds the south side was heightened with an extra floor, and the north side was plastered in late classicistic style, to cover the scars of the former placement of windows. The restorations implied the removal of the affixed second floor, the Southside side-wings, and of any plaster whitewash from the brickwork. Furthermore the door and window openings have been reestablished after the original abode pattern. Inside this pattern hasn't been followed, because the very small rooms were impossible to utilize in a reasonable manner. As it had already in 1707 been started to replace the original medieval-tiles with "modern" tiles, this, roofing was maintained. This unique medieval construction in Denmark houses now exhibitions room from the Neastved Museum. Three stage of restoration: 1966-67, 1975-79 and 1982-84
