Description:
Restoration of an 18th century hunting lodge to form a centerpiece for a new country park created of the old Hamilton Park. Neglect, fire, vandalism, mining subsidence and quarrying had already reduced the building to a ruin. Stabilization of the outer shell, re-opening of the original quarry for construction material. Renewing of decorations, full reconstruction of the original interiors: plastering, painting, doors, fireplaces, etc., providing modern facilities.
