The 16th century two storey house has been left unchanged apart from electricity since it was altered in the late 18th century. To preserve the symmetrical and harmonious farm complex a steel skeleton, lashed to the ancient walls of the north barn carries a new thatched roof. Landscaping includes draining, cleaning the moat, introducing flora and fauna. Abandoned 1945, the complex has been restored especially the farm buildings and some interiors and will be opened to the public in "The Year of the Castles". Moated castle
