Description:
A new built high density housing concept for 15 dwellings in Dublin's neighborhood Ballsbridge. The houses are grouped around three small courtyards, each having access from the private roadway. Garages have been located either within the house structure or adjacent to it. Every house has a private garden either to the side or to the rear. Front gardens have been omitted, all house entrances being off the courtyards. The brick of the facades was carefully chosen for colour and texture in order to relate to the existing dwellings built around the turn of the century and midwars period. All dwellings have second hand Bangor blue s lates in keeping with existing dwellings, windows and doors are hardwood.
