The tower restoration included: - the restoration of battlements, turrets, replacing oak floors and constructing roof using Irish oak. - repairing existing window openings and opening up others that have long been closed. - cleaning down building completely, repairing cracks and re-pointing building both inside and outside. The rooms in the tower will serve as a museum to house Celtic, Viking and Norman artefacts from current Wexford archaeological digs.
