Description:
Various restoration and revitalization projects in the medieval harbor of Stade. The old granary has been restored (façade, new facilities and staircases) and adapted for its new use as a venue for exhibitions, lectures, meetings and museum. Paving of the horsemarket with granite and clinker and use of special lighting. New construction work has been carried out on former news-paper premises to provide accommodation for the elderly. Nearby courtyard reanimates the area. Pedestrianisation and creating attractive leisure areas and revitalization of the horse market. Citizens contributed to the reconstruction of the old "hoist" modeling it on the one in Lüneburg.
