Jens Bang's House is one of the most outstanding works of the Danish Renaissance. Situated in the very middle of Aalborg the building characterizes the inner city, to the pleasure of the citizens and of the many tourists. Thanks to the comprehensive restoration the interesting story of Jens Bang's House, built in 1623-1624, and the background of the unique construction of the building as an enormous stone house in the middle of a town of half-timbered houses, can be told to the succeeding generations.
