Description:
Five beautifully restored old Customs Stores, that occupy part of the western side of Europe Square, houses now the New Municipal Cultural Center of Larnaca. The five iron sheds were dismantled and the old stonebuilt stores were fully restored to their original splendour. The floors were paved with stone slabs, the roofs and the walls were carefully repaired and restored and all the wooden beams supporting the roofs were carefully cleaned restored and varnished. The large heavy wooden doors were also restored and varnished. Proper electrical wiring, lighting and air- conditioning were installed.
