Refurbishment of a 19th century Corn Exchange located in the centre of the city and converted into a multi-purpose Conference, Exhibition and Concert Centre, maintaining the architectural integrity of the building. In use as a grain exchange until 1945. After that time used for sport, indoor markets and concerts. By the time of its closure in 1981 the building had fallen into disrepair.
